9 tips for diabetics

  • Lose excess weight or prevent excess weight gain

  • Eat carbohydrates regularly throughout the day; make sure to include high-fibre foods, such as whole-grain products or legumes, in your daily diet
  • Give preference to low-fat foods
  • Use high-grade vegetable oils such as rapeseed oil or olive oil
  • Drink at least 1.5 to 2 litres of liquids per day; mineral water and unsweetened teas are ideal.
